Nancy Price, Executive Director Nancy Price is founder and executive director of Accent Management Solutions, LLC. As a communication specialist for almost three decades, Ms. Price has been committed to helping individuals achieve clear and effective speech. Prior to establishing Accent Management Solutions, Nancy was employed in multiple settings providing information, assessments, training, and consultation for a variety of speech and language needs. She has experience in public schools, skilled nursing facilities, residential facilities, community college and serving private clients. She has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina, Columbia Campus, supervising speech and language graduate students.
Nancy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Science in Speech Pathology from Winthrop University. She is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the State of South Carolina Board of Examiners of Speech Pathology. She holds a professional membership in the South Carolina Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the Corporate Speech Pathology Network (CORSPAN) and the South Carolina Midlands Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
Ms. Price is certified in Accent Reduction by three nationally recognized speech modification programs: Compton P-ESL through The Institute of Language and Phonology, San Francisco, Professional Communication Skills Training developed by James L. Fitch, PhD., Auburn University, and Accent Elimination through New York Speech Improvement Services, New York.
